Model Aliza Elizabeth lost 20kg thanks to treatment
by Oh Ing Yeen

WHO says mothers can't be sexy?

Mother–of-two Aliza Elizabeth proved that women are still able to regain their figure after childbirth when she beat 12 other contestants to be crowned the Bizzy Body ambassador 2009.

The second Bizzy Body's Ambassador Search event was held at the Sunway Pyramid Orange concourse recently.

Elizabeth also won the Miss Perfect Body title.

"My hips got wider after giving birth to my twins. The treatment not only helped me to slim down but it also firmed up my skin.

"Now I can tell my boys that ‘Mommy can also look good'," said the 29-year-old who lost a total of 20kg.

"In the entertainment industry, you have to look good," added Elizabeth who used to model and act in commercials.

She can now rejoin the entertainment industry again and has been offered opportunities to be in commercials and fashion shows.

The search for the slimming centre's second ambassador began in December 2007 where candidates were required to undergo a slimming programme using the recommended treatment products.

With a slimmer silhouette, the finalists sashayed down the catwalk with confidence and poise before the judges at the finals.

The judges were made up of Bizzy Body general manager Yap Yann Fang and spokesperson Xandra Ooi, Keith Kee from Keith Kee Couture, Ricky Lee from Sense Studio, Sofiah Ahmad Ismail from Xixili, Kenz ooi from Kai Image and Miss Bizzy Body Ambassdor 2008 Sukbinder Pauser.

The first and second runners-up were Emily Quek and Elaine Poon Yee Ling respectively.

Other winners were Miss Congeniality Emily Shi Tu Su Wei, Miss Photogenic Celine Ong, Miss Beautiful Leg Khor Neow Heong, Best Model Performance Yvonne Lew.

International New Talent Singing competition 2004 champion Amy Wang was the guest performer and entertained the crowd at the event.

The slimming centre is also starting to recruit potentials for next year's ambassador.
